The incident happened on Monday evening at the section of the road immediately after the bridge linking Akwa Ibom and Cross River, halting vehicular traffic halted at both ends NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed.
A source who is affected by the incident has explained that currently residents are scooping petroleum products from the affected tankers.
The source accused SERMATECH, the construction company for being responsible for the ugly development: ‘SERMATECH is responsible for this development because they are not supposed to be constructing on both sides of the road’.
Recall that a socio-political group called Cross River South Consultative Forum (CRSCF) has been publicly criticising the construction activities of SERMATECH at the said road.
