Archibong Bassey Succeeds Nsa Gill as NUJ’s first female Chair

Archibong Bassey has emerged the chair of the Cross River Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ). This development took place on Thursday in Calabar as her predecessor, Nsa Gill, was recently appointed the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the governor of the state.

Until her emergence, Archibong Bassey was the Financial Secretary of the NUJ in Cross River.

She has been congratulated by Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr, the lawmaker representing Cross River South at the tenth senate of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Bassey is an editorial staff member with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) where she is an Assistant Director. She is an alumna of the University of Calabar.
