The project, which aligns with the state’s vision to remain a leader in Nigeria’s cocoa production, requires at least 2,000 hectares of land per estate and is expected to bolster the smallholder cocoa development scheme. “Cocoa farming is not just an agricultural venture; it is a transformative project that will drive development and prosperity. I appeal to our leaders and youth to maintain peace and embrace this opportunity,” the Chairman remarked.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with traditional leaders pledging their support for the initiative. HRH Etinyin Eyo Ekpo Effiom, Clan Head of Ikot Eyo Edem, commended Hon. Effiong for his proactive leadership and assured him of the community’s cooperation.
