YENAGOA – Comrade Ndiyo Ndiyo has been elected as the new National Deputy Secretary General of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), following the Council’s national elections held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, from September 19 to 21, 2025.
The election, which saw a massive turnout of youth delegates from across the country, resulted in the re-election of Ambassador Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo as National President for a second term. Sukubo secured a landslide victory with 756 votes, dwarfing the totals of his closest rivals, Elizabeth Olawande (32 votes) and Usaini Mohammad Kaoje (11 votes).
