A House of Representatives aspirant for Etung/Obubra Federal Constituency, Obah Edom Tawo, has donated party headquarters to the African Democratic Congress in Etung Local Government Area and his hometown, Bendeghe Ekiem, in Cross River state NEGROIDHAVEN can report.

Tawo, a leading contender for the constituency seat on the platform of the ADC, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists on Monday.

He said the constituency headquarters, located in Efraya, Etung LGA, is a permanent structure intended to serve as a coordination hub for party activities across the 21 wards in the federal constituency.

According to him, the initiative is part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and provide a functional space for party officials, stakeholders and supporters to organise effectively.

He added that an additional ward headquarters has also been donated in Bendeghe Ekiem to deepen the party’s presence at the community level.

“Leadership must be demonstrated through action before electoral victory. Service is not a reward for winning but a justification for seeking public office,” Tawo said.

The aspirant noted that the facilities are not personal projects but collective assets designed to benefit party members as well as youths, women, farmers and traders within the constituency.

He said the structures would serve as platforms for political inclusion, mobilisation and sustained engagement among residents.

Tawo further called on eligible voters in Etung and Obubra to participate actively in the political process by registering with the ADC and supporting efforts aimed at promoting inclusive governance and long-term development.

He added that the project reflects his commitment to building lasting political structures that would outlive the current election cycle and contribute to the growth of the constituency.
