Resilience on the part of Sunderland gave them a deserve draw at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal has struggled with their few matches to the end of the season. With a loss against Swansea last Monday at the Emirates, and away draw to Manchester United. Now this outstanding match against Sunderland has not yet guarantee a place for them in third position mathematical. A win could have guarantee their third position secured lying behind Manchester City. Still one match to be played and they will know their fate by their result.
Sunderland will be in the Premier League next season – a ninth straight campaign in the top flight.
