With just two seasons spent at the Bernabue, Carlo Ancelotti has been called for the axed. Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti led Real Madrid to UEFA Champions League last season, and was favourite in the eyes of the Madrid management as he delivered to them their long awaited 'La Decima.'

Speculation widely circulating suggest Napoli Coach Raphael Benitez has emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Ancelotti at the Bernabue. Raphael Benitez who was voted UEFA Best Coach 2004/2005 has experience success in Europe when he led Liverpool to UEFA Champions league in the year 2005 as well as UEFA super cup and FA Cup. Also Europa Cup success with Chelsea with his brief spell in charge.

The 55 year old has contract with Napoli expires next month and no agreement has been reached concerning a new contract.

Benitez has won the Coppa Italia with the Naples and also qualified them to the Europa league semi-final this season. The former Liverpool boss has much experience in Spain  and began his coaching career with Real Madrid team B and has also managed Valladolid, Osasuna, Extremadura, Tenerife, Valencia and Inter Milan.

Will Rafa Benitez be a good fit for the Los Blancos side and the axing of Carlo Ancelloti be a wise decision regardless of the fact he didn't win any silverware this season?
