Raheem Sterling dropped form at the latter part of the season, and ended up scoring just a scant of seven goals.
He was awarded at the Liverpool's Award Ceremony as the Young Player Of The Season last night. Immediately after his acceptance speech, shouts of questions from fans "are you staying", " stay Raheem". Some fans about 3,000 booed him as he concluded his acceptance speech.
This must have been the rumour surrounding his exit from the club after he rejected a new contract. Raheem has two years left on his current contract and has rejected a new one. Clubs rumoured to be interested are Manchester City, Arsenal, but recently rumour of Bayern Munich joining the race as well.
Could it be the young lad needs a new challenge? Or seeing the prospect of the club he fangs perceived they are not ambitious enough. Or could it possibly be he needs a higher wage in comparison to the £100,00 he was offered in his new contract?
