A 47 year old man killed six people including the bride, her parents and his own wife at his son’s wedding in the village of Martonos in Northern Serbia.

The big day turned into a real nightmare after Rade Sefar, who hated his son’s girlfriend Natalia Bajtai and disapproved of the marriage, killed the bride, her parents, his own wife and two other relatives.
According to several wedding guests, the man had fuddled himself before taking off his hunting rifle and shooting at least six people in the local church.
The man was eventually killed by one of the guests from France who fought enraged father back and smashed a metal chair over his head. The man’s son Vlastimir Sefer somehow survived the mass execution and after the incident took to the street crying and telling everyone that “My father had killed all the people I love”.
According to the police report , the number of victims could have been higher but for the French man’s courage and swift actions.
