Ex-Governor of Kogi State Col. Bzigu Afakirya (rtd) who was also former Military Administrator of Kogi State from August 1996 to August 1998 is dead. He died in Abuja Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 66.
He was born in Lassa, Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.
