SPORT: Liverpool Completed The Signing Of Brazilian Roberto Firmino

Brazil international Roberto Firmino who is currently involved with the squad in Chile in the ongoing Copa America have signed a long-term contract with Liverpool.

Liverpool who is looking earnestly to boost their attacking prowess after a disappointing season, has already signed four players this season including England international James Milner from Manchester City. They have gone ahead to add to their squad Hoffenheim's Roberto Firmino, subject to the forward completing a medical after his involvement with Brazil in the ongoing Copa America.

A fee in the region of £29m is said to be the reported fee Liverpool has paid for 23 year old Roberto Firmino, which would make him the club's second-highest record signing to Andy Carroll, who joined the Reds from Newcastle in 2011 for £35m.

Roberto Firmino who scored the winning goal against Venezuela last weekend  made 33 Bundesliga appearances for Hoffenheim last season, scoring seven goals and recording 10 assists.
