Ekun Samuel, 27 July 2015.

As reports of exit of Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria lingers, there is need for Coach Louis Van Gal to look for a world class replacement in other to have his team balanced and solid for next season in other to challenge for all fronts of titles next season.

Barcelona Pedro who was initially on Chelsea's radar has now been on the radar of Coach Louis Van Gal who looks set to replace Angel Di Maria who looks likely to be joining French side PSG in few days time.

Manchester United became favourite to sign the experience winger after Chelsea Coach Jose Mourinho admitted he is comfortable with his squad and need not any addition with his current number of wingers he already has. With Victor Moses returning back from Stoke City which he spent last season on loan is said to be part of Jose Mourinho plans for this upcoming season.

Angel Di Maria move to French Champions PSG now looks imminent as Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri took to twitter to say; Manchester United missing few details to finalise Pedro deal. Agreement with Barcelona on 32.5m€, 23m£.

Louis Van Gal seems to have given a candid response to the move as he admitted a player of Pedro's calibre is what Man United needs. And also as reported by SkySport, Louis Van Gal said:  “I think we still need more speed in front and also more creativity and that is why I want (Angel) Di Maria to stay, but, we don’t know that so we will have to see,”

“Bayern Munchen – they have Ribery and Robben. Chelsea have Hazard and Willian. Real Madrid: Ronaldo and Bale. Barcelona: Neymar and Messi.

“(Ashley) Young and (Juan) Mata had fantastic seasons with assists and goals but to win the Champions League you need speed also. That is why I think, maybe, we still have to buy a player with speed and creativity.”

Who you suggest Angel Di Maria be given a chance to prove his worth? Or would you like to see Pedro becomes Di Maria's replacement?

If you ask me, I would suggest Man United cash in on Di Maria as PSG are ready to pop out close to £50m for his services. As Di Maria is prone to injury, and when you need him in most crucial games he might not be there.
