Chelsea could be preparing to face their former Belgian player Kevin DE Bruyne when they face Manchester City in the League this weekend.
The Blues reject was sold to German club Wolfsburg in 2013 January. And since then has been astonishing and superb, especially his performances last season. Due to his brilliant and fascinating performance last season with over 40 assists and goals summed up together in the Bundesliga, he was named ‘Germany’s player of the year’ for last season.
Wolfsburg’s director of sport Klaus Allofs after previously insisted Kevin DE Bruyne is not for sale on numerous occasion has now admitted that it would be difficult to keep Kevin who has contract tied till 2019 as DE Bruyne as kept his options open. With Allofs claiming other clubs have turned Kevin’s head with their offer. And notably, big money Manchester City who have reportedly tabled a £46m deal for DE Bruyne are strong and the favourite contenders to get Kevin signed up as the Etihad could likely be the destination for the young lad.
But Allofs is staying firm as he insist Wolfsburg are in no pressure to sell DE Bruyne this season.
If the move eventually materialise which reports are claiming Manchester City are confident of tying up a deal before the Chelsea game, he could turn out to purnish Mourinho and prove his true worth as well, as Mourinho failed to belief in him during his time with the blues.
