The call to glory of one of Cross River State's most finest egghead, Dr. Okpo Ojah, was greeted with shock and has incited a handful of reactions across board.

One of the reactions came from the writing stable of Prince Thomas Abi Jr, a trending public affairs analyst and social commentator from Cross River. Abi eulogises now late Ojar as a man with 'unassuming humility' whose sense of discipline was what 'endeared me to him'. He accordingly called for the immortalisation of Ojar by the CRS government. What follows is his full speech of eulogy in honour of Dr. Okpo Ojah.

'I heard of the death of Dr. Okpo Ojah with great shock. Dr. Ojah, was a reservoir of knowledge. He was a fine breed, a perfect gentleman and a great writer who influenced me positively.

I remember with nostalgia the first time I met him at the cultural center Calabar, his humility was unassuming. His sense of discipline was one that endeared me to him.

Dr. Okpo Ojah was one of Cross River's finest brains, he was a gift to mankind who affected the socio-political well being of the People of Cross River State positively with his timely and articulate articles and commentaries.

My opinion is that Dr. Ojah should be immortalized.

I urge the government of CRS to give him a state burial and see to the welfare of his family.

Rest in Peace man of Style and wisdom'.
