Barely only seven months in charge of Los Blancos, Real Madrid decided to part ways with the overweight fat Belly Raphael Benitez.
Ruthless Madrid's President said in a statement; “We have taken the difficult decision to rescind the contract of Rafael Benitez as coach,” said Madrid president Florentino Perez.
“The Real Madrid board has decided to name Zinedine Zidane as coach of the first team.”
Benitez last game came on Sunday evening, after failing to take advantage of topping League Champions Barcelona who currently lies second behind League leaders Atletico Madrid position with a game in hand. They drew 2-2 with Valencia away.
With the sacking, Benitez is left like a wanderer as he has tour almost the major Leagues in Europe.
Such an embarrassment for a reputable manager well recognised in Spain and in Europe!
