Honourable Bassey Ewa has been under negative public light for awhile now especially where acerbic critics such as Obasesam Okoi and Ifere Paul, etc are concerned.
Generally, the Ewa is said never to have sponsored any bill in Nigeria's Green Chamber. About two months ago, Social Media went agog with the critical comments of Obasesam Okoi, a Cross River-born, Canadian-based academic who incidentally hails from Hon. Ewa's Federal Constituency (Yakurr/Abi), the debates culminated in Okoi apologising to his fans for laundering Ewa to victory at the 2015 polls.
From Ifere Paul's critical remarks, Hon. Ewa has never executed any Constituency project despite the huge sums of financial votes accruing to his office to the tune of over N200 million, which have never orchestrated any concrete project in Yakurr/Abi Federal Constituency, whereas his counterparts are.
So, with no bill at the floor of the House of Representatives and no Constituency projects to the immediate benefits of his constituents, what is the degree of honourability in Honourable Bassey Ewa of Yakurr/Abi Federal Constituency of Nigeria's House of Representatives? The concerned Honourable Member or his aides can address themselves to the above question.
