The Representatives of Tulsi Chanrai Foundation in the state led by Dr. Rajesh Kapse and his team attended first ever town hall meeting in health at Akpabuyo local government area. The foundation is one of the major primary healthcare partners of Cross River State offering technical assistance and commodities to health centres across the state.

They were pleased with the exercise, thanking the state government under the leadership of Senator Prof. Ben Ayade for reaching out to the people to know their plight concerning healthcare delivery in the state.

Dr. Rajesh in his observation noticed some challenges in handling of health facilities. He mentioned that availability of drugs, safe drinking water and equipment maintenance would help strengthen primary health care in the state. He went further to eulogize the Special Adviser, Dr. Betta Edu for her courageous move to meet and talk with relevant stakeholders in health sector. According to him it will help in charting a new course for PHC's in the state.

So many participant in the town hall meeting lauded Tulsi Chanrai Foundation for their effort so far in the state. One of them, a village head in Akpabuyo, Chief Esemin Eso prayed for long lasting partnership with state the government so they could continue benefitting from their support especially in drugs and other commodities.
