Reports from EFCC Divisional Headquarters in Port Harcourt has it that Liyel Imoke has paid the EFCC 58 Million Naira left of the 500 Million Naira. In addition to that, he used all his houses in Calabar and Abuja to pledge bail.
According to my EFCC informant from Port Harcourt, the EFCC has given Liyel Imoke one month to repay the 500 Million Naira or else he will be rearrested.
However, Liyel Imoke called a PDP stakeholders meeting in Calabar where he tasked them to contribute monies to make up the balance of 442 Million Naira of the #DiezeniGate. Liyel was reportedly angry and stalked out of the meeting. It is not clear whether Ayade will go on to give Liyel Imoke the 300 Million Naira he promised as Ifere Paul has threaten to petition EFCC.
Sources close to the government revealed that Liyel Imoke did not just stalk out. He left behind promise to tell EFCC of the beneficiaries of the loot if by the end of his one month ultimatum the PDP beneficiaries refused to contribute.
