Biase, Cross River-born Mba E. Ukweni Esq has been conferred with the exalted status of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) after due considerations.
The announcement of the conferment of the prestigious title was made known today 4 July by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC), a committee enacted by the Legal Practitioners Act and set up by the Supreme Court of Nigeria to entertain recommendations for deserving lawyers of the status of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, sequel to its 123rd General Meeting.
The LPPC released the list of its new 22 SANs through Alhaji Gambo Saleh, Chief Registrar, Supreme Court and Secretary of LPPC accordingly:

It will be recalled that Ukweni as well as his dear wife Elizabeth were both decorated, very recently, by the Qua nation of Calabar as Ntufam and Ntukae respectively.
Meanwhile, Prince Adjah Adjah, an erstwhile President of National Association of Cross River State Students Worldwide (NACRISS WW), who incidentally is from Biase Local Government Area has sent in his congratulations. Prince Adjah in his congratulatory message said thus: 'I humbly introduce Ntufam Barr. Mba E. Ukweni SAN and Ntukae Mrs ME Ukweni. Congratulations on your elevation to SANship my leader'.
