West Ham United have seen their front line Ill fated after seeing all three of their strikers; Andre Ayew, Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho on the sidelines because of injury.

It is understood that West Ham had made inquired about the availability of Manchester City outcast Wilfried Bony but the deal looks unlikely. With these circumstance befalling them, West Ham are already seeing from afar how bleak the season could be for them and will not relent in making an effort to get a striker.

The Hammers have now turn their attention to out of favour Chelsea striker Loic Remy, who has found himself down the pecking order due to the arrival of young Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi.

The French stirker has been inconsistent for the Blues due to injury and lack of form, and he recorded just one goal in 13 Premier League appearances for Chelsea last season.

The 29 year old has seen his chances playing for Chelsea this season limited as he hasn't been featured for three of Chelsea games this season.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is understood according to Sky Sport, having interest for the Blues striker and considering a long season loan move in order to booster his front line in the absence of already three injured strikers.

Chelsea, who refused to comment when contacted by Sky Sports News HQ, are understood to favour a straight forward sale but have not ruled out the possibility of a loan deal.

Although Slaven Bilic is understood to having been quoted saying; "West Ham won't beg for strikers".
