Attempts at reconciliation of Hon Mark Obi and Barr Tina Agbor have defiled all efforts. Sen Liyel Imoke tried and failed, there were meetings attended by the likes of Prof Florence Obi, Hon Joe Obi Bisong, Hon Cletus Obun, Hon Jake Enyia, Hon Hilary Bisong, Hon Itam Abang, Barr Attah Ochinke Hon Barr George Ekpungu and some other stakeholders, they failed in these attempts. Besides these attempts prominent people have made attempts at individual level, Pa P. B. Etta called a meeting in his house to settle these Boki children, Hon Mark Obi absented himself from the meeting without any excuse, Ochibe Bokyi meeting ought to seize the opportunity to reconcile the difference of these lover birds but Barr Tina Agbor was conspicuously absent from the meeting, issues raised in the Ochibe Bokyi is sadly not harmonised till date.
With the above background, it will be difficult to settle these people. In fact efforts of some stakeholders to settle these people have been discouraging because of the brazen way these duo disregard any wise counsel. It is a waste of time for the youth to continue disturbing themselves with meetings aimed at settling these recalcitrant children of Boki I can predict that their efforts will be one in futility.
The only way Hon Mark Obi and Barr Tina Agbor can be reconciled is by Ochibe Bokyi summoning these people and threatening them to settle themselves or risk some sanctions. Sadly our major stakeholders are now silent and have given up on these people, only the youths are taking up the fight and they can't get anywhere nor will they be respected by these hardened enemies without the support of stakeholders
The next point of settlement of the crisis would have been the governor who seems to be enjoying the crisis. There is an unwritten plan in the actions of the governor. I am suspecting that the governor want these guys to fight so that he takes the mandate of leadership from them. It will be a great loss to Boki if we loose the position of SSG and SA Administration because of the mere pride of our stubborn children.
We must call our erring brother and sister to order. With these fact stated, what is the way forward
