Comrade Abang Ogon, a former president of National Association of Cross River State Students (NACRISS), Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) chapter, and budding social commentator, Thursday, on the occasion of his birthday, assured destitute children in Calabar, Cross River State capital of better days ahead in so far as there's continued existence NegroidHaven can say.
The incisive commentator on varied topical issues bordering Cross River and Nigeria at large took to the streets to celebrate his birthday with abandoned street children popularly called Skolombo Boys, after dinning and winning with them, doled out invaluable pieces of advice.
In his speech spoken in pidgin, he assured the children that, 'all hope is not lost, retract your moral footsteps : reflect on your individual lives and return home,
'Let's focus our energies in fighting our collective enemies that have stolen us to finish rather than stealing from innocent and poor citizens'.
The incumbent President of NACRISS WW, Comr Caleb Obaji accompanied Comr Ogon in company with other students leaders on this incident.
Happy birthday Comr Ogon. Sustain this tempo, please.
