Drs Asibong, Edu conferred with traditional titles, others

The duo of Cross River Commissioner for Health, Dr Inyang Asibong and Director General of Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Betta Edu have been honoured with traditional and other titles NegroidHaven can report authoritatively. 
Asibong the state health boss was recently conferred with the title of ‘Mbonka’ (Obonganwan) by HRH Muri Effiong Eyo Okon V, Muri/Clan Head of Efut Akani Esut Clan, Calabar South LGA, in appreciation for her contribution in the development of the Clan.

On her part, Dr Edu was conferred with was crowned the Obonganwan Ekondo by HRH Okon V, the Muri/Clan Head of Efut Akani Esut Clan in Calabar South LGA, in similar appreciation for her contribution in the development of the Clan.

Dr Edu was again honoured by renowned Safari Award as ‘Director General of the Year’, also National Initiative for Drug Demand Reduction and Abuse Prevention, awarded her for her support to the fight against the use of drugs by young people in Cross River State. Furthermore, the National Youth Council of Nigeria Award for ‘Youth of the Year’ was given to Dr Edu in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the health sector in Cross River and Youth building, while the Medical Women Association of Nigeria awarded better through a keenly contested polls where she emerge as an awarded for unique outstanding performance. 

They say the reward for hard work is more work, and the greatest motivation to do more is the recognition of hard work.
