Welcome 2018, Thanks for 2017: In Every Cross There is a Crown

2017 is come and gone, it was a great year to be remembered. 2017 saw me defend my PhD in Philosophical Jurisprudence. My second and most trilling achievement was my remarriage after a failed one. I got married to the best woman ever created by God, my dear wife Cecilia Ogbeche. Before meeting my wife I had concluded that marriage is mutual slavery but after meeting my wife, my perception about marriage changed and I now see marriage as a bliss and a taste of heaven on earth. True to fact, getting a good wife is the greatest treasure on earth, heaven can truly be experienced on earth, thanks to my love and Darling wife for changing my perception of marriage.

It was not all rosy, a gang of those who perceived me an obstacles to their fraud ganged up to terminate my appointment while another gang compromising of top members of the Ayade's government sought to assassinate me using one Chris Abang (brother to the attorney General of Cross River State) and Raphael Odu (DG, Cross River State Homeland security). I will not say more on this because investigation is still ongoing.

2017 was a year of my baptism to activism. I had enjoyed the glory of activism without paying the price. My baptism into activism began with  query from the University of Calabar over my Facebook activities, I replied the queries and got acknowledged copies of the queries from Mr. Ochelebe the Secretary to the University of Calabar Registrar. I was thereafter suspended on unwarranted reasons that I did not reply my queries. Upon receiving my letter, I wrote to the University with evidence of my replies to the  queries and acknowledged copies of my replies, I copied same to ASUU unical. Upon reception of my letter, I was invited by Deputy Security Officer of the University Mr. Usani who pretended he wanted to help me settle my dispute with the Vice Chancellor Prof Zana Akpagu.

On reaching the University campus, I was apprehended by the police on allegation that I was acquiring arms and inciting the public against the university of calabar. The police were made to search my house and no weapon was found. On instruction of the Vice Chancellor Prof Zana Akpagu the police were compromised to keep me in their custody. I was left in police custody for two days for no offense.

Shortly after my false imprisonment came failed assassination attack on me. Immediately after my attack and when a ran for safety in Abuja I was recalled to come back to the university. For the first time I saw a recall to service with strict instructions that I remain placed on half salary. Till date I am still on half salary, though my unwarranted suspension have been recalled

2017 was a year God played God in my life, he told those that wanted to terminate my job that he is my God, he told those that wanted to kill me that they can't take a life that they can't create. All Glory to God. 2017 ended as a year of my divine promotion with visible landmark  lifetime's achievement. Bye to 2017, God give me strength to face the challenges of 2018.

Prosperous New year to all my friends, we bless God for his grace that has kept us alive to date.
