All is now set for the Friday 9th February 2018 inauguration of Atikunation Independent Campaign Group in the six states that constitutes the south south geopolitical zone, namely, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa and Edo NegroidHaven has confirmed. Mr Ikpen Ilefa, the Cross River Director of Publicity of Atikunation reliably informed our correspondent that the inauguration ceremony will hold today at Channel View Hotel, MCC Road, Calabar, Cross River by 1PM.
Atikunation ICG is a political campaign structure founded by her Director General, Hon. Fateema Muhammed and presided over by the Turaki Adamawa, Alhaji Aliyu Atiku Abubakar, son to Mr Abubakar. In a recent interview she granted Global Excellence DG Muhammed said that the group aims at introducing the 'real Alhaji Abubakar to Nigerians' as well as 'campaign and mobilize the electorate to vote for him'. That is to say, the group wishes to materialise the presidential ambition of former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar come 2019.
According to Mr Ilefa, Cross River was chosen to host this august occasion owing to the fact that 'it's a peaceful and accommodating state'.
He further noted that each state has a 16-man EXCO in view of popularising the principal, His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Wazirin Adamawa. 'It is an independent campaign group that has as its goal —the actualization of Atiku Abubakar as the next president of Nigeria', Ikpen added.
Hon Jimmie Aninege will be inaugurated as the state director of Atikunation in Cross River including fifteen others. As well as eighty others for the remaining five states.
To be present at the occasion will be Chief Douyi Douglas Naingba, the south south zonal director; Director General, Hon. Fateema Muhammed and the president of the group the Turaki Adamawa, Alhaji Aliyu Atiku Abubakar amongst other political big wigs in the state.
