In a regrettable display of sanctimony and pitiable ignorance, that is bliss in itself, the ruling APC changed their party's slogan immediately after their national convention from "Change" to "Progress", and it is within a personal conviction and optimism that as we climb the last staircase to opening the campaign doors to 2019 elections the mantra will also change from "Change" to "Progress"…
In less than 48 hours into the new slogan of "Progress" a new global extreme poverty index has ranked Nigeria ahead of India, that hitherto was one of the poorest countries in the world, What a "Progress"…
Within this same frame of time, the Miyetti Allah has been gainfully occupied in unleashing an unspeakable carnage of unimaginable magnitude in parts of Plateau State; What a Progress indeed!
Now, if there is still any lining of morality left on the fabric of the APC, Nigerians will be constrained to ask; What paradox of  "Progress" are they really referring to!?
To say APC has failed and colossally so in delivering on the basic objective of government, is to state the sufficient obvious. There was and has never been a time, pre- and post independence that Nigeria has been so dismembered, decaying everyday with a very repulsive and noxious stench, so toxic that even the vultures are staying away.
The beauty of our diversity has been eroded, and the strength of our unity failed. Nigeria has painfully drifted from the noble dreams and foundation of those who fought for it.
It is disheartening to say the least! It is perhaps the safest of time to state unequivocally that the today leaders of this country have long lost the script and ought to be describe for who they truly are" misleaders!
Today, after the crocodile smiled, and the python finished dancing, the rat in Benue is still racing, yet the Fulani cow is enjoying a full immunity as that of the President in Aso Rock. What an irony…
Dear compatriots, the last three years of the APC government has evidently been characterized by pogroms, genocide and ethnic cleansing, we are fast loosing this country Nigeria, a once giant of Africa now sadly crippled by the manacles of ethnic divisiveness, religious intolerance, hate and political vendetta.
Refer to Gov Nasir El- Rufai's memo to Mr. President: "The Buhari led APC government has failed to deliver on the mundane issue of governance", there can't be a stacker truth than this.
The saddest in these tales of woe is the Nigerian Military, they have become the biggest accomplices. Hope is completely waned.
For me, if massive corruption could put us on a robust economic growth trajectory, knit our country stronger, put the security of life and property above politics, grow our GDP, make our economy biggest in Africa and one of the fastest growing in the world.
If corruption could guarantee Nigerians freedom of speech, make our democratic institutions work, tolerate opposition, respect rule of law and court orders even to the extent of sharing, on court orders the savings in the sovereign wealth fund among the tiers of government and guarantee basic fundamental human rights then that corruption is what me need to make Nigeria what it ought to be.
I believe it is time, as a country to ignite a robust conversation that'll lead us to renegotiating the term for our continues coexistence as a sovereignty.
Nigeria can not be turn to a savage kingdom. This barbarism must stop.
