Ayade’s aide adjudges high moral standard as true beauty

The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Comrade Asu Okang has advised that at a time when morality and Godly virtues seems to be trodden upon by youths, upholding high moral standards and living by them is the true definition of beauty.
Comrade Okang who gave the admonition while addressing models of the Miss Ivory Cross River Pageantry who paid him a courtesy call in his office stated that the true purpose of pageantry is not to showcase beauty, but it is an avenue to add value to their lives of young people around. He urged the models to use the platform as an opportunity for them to contribute their quota to the development of youths in the State and the society at large.
The Commissioner appreciated the organizers of the pageantry, PETACH Global Links for the initiative of Miss Ivory Cross River and pledged the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to the success of the pageantry and to choose a Youth Ambassador for the Ministry, from amongst the models.
Speaking earlier, the organizer of Miss Ivory Cross River, Mr. Patrick Achang, said PETACH Global Link, based in Abuja is passionate about empowering the Youths and in creating a difference in them. He inferred that contestants for the pageantry have been given a task each that would improve the lots of the Cross River Youth when brought to public, adding that the organizations is particular about excellence in youths.
