Palpable suspicions often trail politicians and their activities. But Senator Rose Okoji Oko is in a world of her own and she has built this world through deliberate omissions or so I am told.
Since I was young and now I'm getting old, I have never seen any Senator from Northern Cross River so berated, so vilified, so criticized. And I call her critiques bad belle people.
What else do you want me to call them? Madam Senator, our very own Angel who wants the lives of her constituents changed  had not organized any empowerment programme since she became a Senator and they said Madam is forgetful of a good done her. What they didn't know was that she was planning one mega empowerment programme that would change the world!
Penultimate Friday was the eventual day and our World Changer of a Senator had gathered her constituents. Again, these detractors are always on her trail. They found out that Madam and her handlers came in with names of a few people to be DISEMPOWERED. That was what many called it. "How can you possibly empower a man with a car when he doesn't have the wherewithal to maintain it or a good road to drive it?" They queried.
I was told before this programme that those who made it to the list were those who had been working for Madam since 2003. So these bad people should just jejeli start working for her now so that in the next 15 years their name may appear on Madam's list. But no. They said Madam had scammed them into Ogoja township stadium to watch her compensate her followers and bribe her way through her party's primaries and 2019 elections. So they entered. They empowered themselves with motorcycles, with generators, and other items.
The helpless police officer stationed to man the items was said to have shot sporadically into the air. But those guys were dare-devils, they were unfazed. That was how they disrupted what should have changed the landscape of Cross River North Senatorial District.
