The Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Akwa Ibom State, Rt. Hon. Victor Antai has resigned his appointment with the Government of Akwa Ibom NegroidHaven can report authoritatively.
This is perceived to be part of the defection gale sweeping through Akwa Ibom at the instance of the defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by the erstwhile Minority Leader of the Senate, Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio.
Antai said he's resigning to 'pursue other life's aspirations'. What could these aspirations be? Hmmmm!
Meanwhile, reports have it that, 18 House of Assembly members,
14 Local Government Chairmen,
17 Local Government PDP Chairmen have defected to APC in A/Ibom.
Akpabio has also resigned his position as the Senate Minority Leader.
