20 August 2018
It is no longer news that the Federal government under the sincere leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari has in its benevolence opted to avail our farmers fertilizers/chemical to boost our productivity in that light.
Upon commencement, the anchor of the projects (politicians) hijacked it and brought in Unity bank to make it look legit while compelling our poor farmers to pay the sum of N3,000 each for the facility. According to them, N2,000 is for the government while N1, 000 is for warehouse/logistics.
Many who have paid these sums and are receipted have not even sighted the items before, but to say received same. Mr.  Ebel Adinya has suddenly become a lord over Bekwarra Nation for fertilizer sake and I am sad.
Now to ask the least of all questions : why collect monies by way of extortion if you know you can’t supply the fertilizer? What happened to all the empty rooms at the Local government council that we can’t house the fertilizers there?
We take delight to further impoverish an already vulnerable people, playing politics with everything that should add value to a people as peaceful as they are.
I am seriously unhappy and will stop at nothing to petition the Minister of Agriculture for this fraud.
I have been warned to keep mute because I am contesting elections and must not make any more enemy but of what use is it that my people are deprived of their rights and yet I seek power? We must understand the difference between humanity and power.
As I write, I understand that they are selling these products to people on a higher rate, leaving even people who paid initially unattended to.
Whoever knows Abel Adinya must call him to order and inform him that all those who have by any means paid monies to him should get their facilities or their monies returned to them within 48hrs from now.
TAKE NOTICE that his failure to so do may leave us with no option than to set the civil and criminal laws in motion against him and his cohorts.
