Ayade approves commissioners to man vacant ministries…CRSHA confirms appointment of IRS boss, AG

Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has approved the following Commissioners to coordinate the affairs of various vacant ministries in the state:

1) The ministry of Transport and Marine Service's, Mr. Asuquo Ekpenyong (the Commissioner for Finance).
2)Ministry of Education, Peter Akam Egba.
3) Ministry of Works, Victor Agwu.
4)Ministry of Establishment and training, Stella Odey.
4)Ministry of New Cities, Okokon Effiom who is replacing Dr George Abang Ekpungu.
Meanwhile, the 8th Cross River State House, CRSHA, has confirmed the appointment of two nominees from the Governor, Ayade.
Cross River State House of Assembly in its Tuesday plenary confirmed the nomination of Mr Akpanke Ogar as Chairman, Cross River State Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Mrs Franca Inok as Auditor-General for Local Government.
According to an media aide to the Speaker of the Assembly, Mr Atam Linus Odey, the House Committee Chairman on Finance and Apppropriation, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jones Williams chaired the screening and clearing of Mr Akpanke Ogar who hails from Obudu Local Government Area.
Similarly, the House Committee Chairperson on Local Government, Political and Chieftaincy Affairs,Hon. Regina Anyogo chaired the screening of Mrs Franca Inok who hails from Bekwarra Local Government Area but married to Mr Inok from Calabar Municipality.
The confirmation of their appointment has become the resolution of CRSHA. The Speaker, Rt. Hon. John Gaul Lebo of CRSHA thus gave directive to the clerk of the House, Elder Bar. Bassey Ekpenyong to produce three copies and forward them to the Governor, H E Senator Prof. Ben Ayade for necessary action.
