Parallel Guber candidates: Usani Usani, John Owan Enoh emerge APC C/River flagbearers

The duo of Sen. John Owan-Enoh and Usani Uguru Usani have both won Cross River State APC gubernatorial primaries NEGROIDHAVEN can report authoritatively. The former is of the Dr Matthew Achigbe’s faction of the APC in the State who was announced today, while the latter is of the Etim John Camp who was declared on Sunday. 

The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Usani Uguru Usani, who had a total of 47,313 emerged the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross Rivers State having been declared so on Monday at the APC Collation Unit in Calabar by the Chairman, Collation Committee of the party in the state, Emmanuel Anom.
Usani’s close rival, Senator Owan-Enoh got 14, 860 votes. While Professor Eyo Etim Nyong got 1,162, John Odey got 1,099 votes as Chief Edem Duke scored 1,322 votes. This is according to the Etim John faction. 
On the other hand, in the Dr Matthew Achigbe-led APC CRS State EXCO, Owan-Enoh scored a total of 82,272 votes to beat his closest rival, High Chief Edem Duke, who had 7,367 votes. 
The result was announced by Mr Ali Magaji, Chairman of the Committee sent by the National Working Committee of the APC.
Political pundit Princewill Odidi has said concerning the development that, ‘APC in CRS making a mockery of democracy! If you cannot put a small party primaries together, be orderly with a common front, how then will put the entire state together?’ 
Reacting, a source said that, ‘I participated in the primaries and no materials got to the field the said date the election was to hold but the Usani’s group held elections in various wards. The Owan Enoh camp never help matters either. Materials were snatched and results were filled and submitted in Calabar, fake materials send to the field. Governorship is an Abuja affairs. As l am writing, a candidate has emerged in Usani Usani as announced in network news this morning. Usani is always thinking ahead of his rivals. Thank God Mr. Ochicha declined contesting because he wouldn’t have coped with the manoeuvring. What next for other aspirants?’
