CR YESSO doles out N30,000 each to thousands of beneficiaries across CR communities

Cross River state Government has scaled up its Youth Employment and Social Operations (YESSO) Public Work Fare program with thousands of youths and vulnerable people from all the wards and communities in Cross River benefiting from the intervention.
The Commissioner for International Development Cooperation, Dr Inyang Asibong who represented His Excellency Sen Ben Ayade, Governor of Cross River State at the Akpabuyo Payment flagoff,  while presenting the cash of thirty thousand and ATM cards for future cashless payments, to each beneficiary charged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds and take advantage of the program to better their lives. "This is one of the intervention programs of the State Government assisted by the World Bank, for the unemployed youths & vulnerables, she said. 
Also speaking, the Commissioner for Youths and Skills acquisition, Hon Signor Idiege who was represented by the Director of Administration expressed gratitude to the World Bank for partnering the State to engage eligible youths and vulnerable people. He also assured the beneficiaries of the State Government's sustainability of the program as part of the efforts of reducing poverty and unemployment in the state. 
The Beneficiaries took turns to express their gratitude to the State Governor for his magnanimity, and vowed use of the funds judiciously.
