State Commissioner for Education plays host to Minister of State for Education in Calabar

The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Dr Godwin Amanke recently hosted the Hon Minister of State for Education, Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajuba, who was in Cross River state, on a working visit NEGROIDHAVEN can say.
As part of his visit, the minister and the commissioner took inspection tour of primary and secondary schools across the state to ascertain the level of Infrastructure as well as the teachers and pupils and students in the state public schools.
In addition, they visited among others,  Imaculate Primary School,  Federal Housing, Calabar, Immaculate Secondary School, Federal Housing, Calabar, Federal Government Girls College.
Other places visited included the CBT Jamb centers at University of Calabar and The National Open University opposite zone six.
The Minister and Commissioner both  charged the pupils and students to work hard to achieve successes in their academic pursuits.
 
To this ends, they warned the teachers and heads of schools to take their jobs seriously as truancy and ineptitude will not be tolerated.
