CR-YESSO to employ over 20 thousand youths

The Nigeria Lead Social Protection specialist, Prof Foluso Okunmadewa at the stakeholders meeting between CRS representatives and the World Bank's YESSO team in Calabar, commended the CRSG tenacity in doing everything possible for his team to be in Calabar to ensure that the new phase of the YESSO program takes off. 
Dr Inyang Asibong, the Commissioner for International Development Cooperation lauded the YESSO team for believing in Governor Ben Ayade's vision of Youth employment and providing social safety net system for the vulnerable and poor in the state. She also asserted that the Government of CRS will ensure that a good number of the youths and vulnerable are captured in CRSG/World's Bank skills acquisition and livelihood program.
Also speaking, the Comissioner for Youth and Skills acquisition, Hon Signor Omamg Idiege said, "His Excellency, Prof Ben Ayade has set a target towards achieving youth empowerment that would make them self reliant and independent. 
The National Coordinator, National Social Safety Net Coordinating Office, NASSCO, Iorwa Apera, commended  Cross River state Government for making resources available for public welfare that will create immediate employment for the teaming youth and conditioning cash transfer to the poor, vulnerable and internally displaced people.
