Jabengo’s disposition is contained in a statement cited by our correspondent where the medical practitioner was seen to be commending the State governor over the relative peace and calm in Calabar the state capital metropolis.
According to the NMA Secretary, ‘Your Excellency, On this occasion of your fifty-third birthday, I recall with pleasant nostalgia the NMA’s visit to you at your office in December 2020; I call to memory that after we complained bitterly to you about how the lives of medical practitioners in the state, especially in the state capital, were disadvantaged, you promised to address the social malaise pointedly.
‘You did set up Operation Akpakwu and today we are better for it. Sir, through that singular intervention, two of our members were rescued from kidnapper’s den without ransom,’ Jabengo disclosed.
‘On this occasion of your fifty-third birthday, I wish you a happy birthday and many more returns. Happy birthday Your Excellency!’ He Concluded.
