Venatius Ikem Esq has been elected the new chair of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Cross River state NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed.
Meanwhile, Francis Ekeng and Joe Esse have both elected Organizing Secretary and Assistant Secretary of the PDP in the state while Chief Austin Edibe was elected Vice Chairman (North), Comr. Brown Odey as Youth Leader, Comr. Chris Edadi as State Financial Secretary, Hon. Obstacle as Ex-officio, Hon Agabi Jacobs as Assistant youth Leader etc. They have been presented with provisional certificate of return.
Ikem who was a former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP and Commissioner for Works and Housing in Cross River under Gov Donald Duke has been a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the past.
The election held on Saturday 18th September 2021.
