The first edition of Loud Rotation went down on Monday 27th of December 2021 and it was all fun NEGROIDHAVEN has garnered.
The event put together by Free Smoke Network and Backyard Terrace with great support from Thomas Andrew and Cross River Youth Voters Alliance saw over 30 of the very best acts in the city perform.
Tigerman and Slimfresh together known as TigermAniez reformed Sosong Abasi of the new EP titled Love and Hate which was released on Christmas Day.
Texzy was also on hand to thrill the crowd with an amazing performance of his Yes Now freestyle. The ladies were not left out as Valentina Lizzie, Firegirl and Anyi Vee left the crowd at backyard Terrace in awe.
From the headline act –Challex De Boss, to Trxy the Villain, the wonderful pair of Exit and Browno (Woi Nationa), Shenkex, Utanii, Swaggaman, Killaboi Czar, Tushi Gucci Lacasablanca and some suprise acts like Iceboxx and Scholes, the evening left the crowd wanting more.
In a good will message the Youths Project Director, Effiong Nyong, enjoined the youths to see the Loud Rotation as a means of respect for young people hence the choice of meeting them at their comfort zone.
And using the Yuletide season to get their attention on political consciousness. He added that more of such events would be unfolding in the months ahead.
