The Campaign Organization of Lady Emana Ambrose-Amawhe (Team New Dawn) wishes to congratulate Rt. Hon. Essien Ekpenyong Ayi on his emergence as candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party at the just concluded primaries for the Akpabuyo/Bakassi/Calabar South Federal Constituency of Cross River state.
It was a tough fight and we came battle ready; however, only one person takes the day in any contest. We express profound gratitude to our great party, The PDP, for a seamless conduct of the primary election and providing a level playing field for all aspirants to contest.
In light of this, as true a party loyalist, our principal pledges her unalloyed support to the party leadership at all levels. To buttress this, Lady Emana had sent a personal congratulatory message to Rt. Hon. Essien Ayi immediately after the exercise.
Furthermore, as law abiding citizens and staunch party men, we align ourselves with the position of the party regarding the outcome of the primary election in which our principal came second place and urge the entire NEW DAWN TEAM to partner and ensure that the PDP records resounding success across board in the forthcoming general elections.
Finally, we wish to encourage our teeming and committed supporters to keep the embers of hope ablaze for our spirit is not crushed neither are we deterred. As a people, Our light will not know dim and a NEW DAWN for Akpabuyo/Bakassi and Calabar South has just arisen! A rebirth for Cross River State has come!!
