BREAKING: Bassey Otu, Sandy Onor emerges APC, PDP C’River guber candidates

Sen. (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu popularly known as Sweet Prince has emerged the governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in Cross River.

He polled to victory in a primary election which held at U.J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar the state capital on Thursday with 811 votes, while his closest rival Sen. John Owan-Enoh grabbed 84 votes, and business mogul Chris Agara Esq. clinched on 68 votes.

In a related development, Prof. Sandy Ojang Onor of the opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP has been declared the winner of the PDP Cross River guber primary election.
