2023: APC House of Reps Candidate Commissions Project in C’River

Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Akamkpa/Biase FederaI Constituency Dr Emil Inyang on Saturday 9 July 2022, commissioned and unveiled a Village Square Modern Roundabout in Akpet Central, Biase Local Government Area of Cross River State.

Dr Emil who was accompanied by the Cross River Southern Senatorial District candidate of the APC Hon. Asuquo Ekpenyong Jr and the House of Assembly candidate for the Biase State Constituency Engr. Francis Ogban, commended the Akpet Central community for executing the project, which according to him would motivate government that is to be elected at the representative level in 2023 to do more in complementing their efforts towards community development.

He recalled that during his time as Council Chairman he carried out laudable community development initiatives that brought about sustainable human and social capital developments of which many people in Biase can attest to, adding that he would even do much more than that when elected to represent the good people of Akamkpa and Biase at the House of Representatives in 2023.

The Roundabout was built by members of Chief Assem Egbai Abit Age Grade of Akpet Central. The Age Grade which was inaugurated on 26th July 1996, has membership across Akpet Central, Ibogo, Umai, Akparavuni and Ukwopeyere communities all in Biase LGA.

Also in attendance at the event were the member representing Biase State Constituency Hon. Rootman Ogbor, the Director General of Emil Inyang Campaign Organization Dr Uti Egbai, Chapter Chairman of APC Biase Dcn. Mizam Arikpo, Vice Chairman of Council Barr. Oyono Ekpe, the clan head of Akpet Central His Highness Atte-Obhort Sunday Evong, amongst others.
