Esther Bassey the chair of Calabar South LGA of Cross River state has died NEGROIDHAVEN can report.
Though information about her death is still sketchy, it is alleged that on Wednesday she complained of stomach ache briefly before she died.
Her death has come as a rude shock to her immediate family, political associates, staff and the general public.
