Employees of the Cross River Waste Management agency, specifically Mrs. Christiana Nsa, the Director of Accounts, and Mrs. Esu Essien, a supervisor, recently expressed their appreciation for a generous gesture from the Madoxx Project. This demonstration of goodwill came at a time when the agency has faced challenges, including the delay of payments for the past eight months NEGROIDHAVEN can report.

The Madoxx Project recently distributed various gift items to its staff as a means of boosting motivation among the workforce. During the event, CEO Mr. Sunny Avra Onoriobe emphasised that hard work is recognised and appreciated within the organisation.

Despite the financial difficulties, the beneficiaries were grateful to Madoxx for considering their welfare. In response, they pledged to redouble their efforts in fulfilling their duties and contributing to the growth of the organisation. Their shared goal is to ensure that Calabar maintains its status as the cleanest city in Nigeria.

The Chairman of the occasion, Mr. Ayi Effiong, who also serves as the acting Environmental Project Executive Secretary of the Urban Development Authority, commended the Madoxx Project for its commitment to maintaining cleanliness in the state. He noted that this reward initiative aligns with Governor Bassey Otu’s One Hundred Days in Office programme.

Mr. Onoriobe indicated that this event is part of an ongoing effort to recognise and reward dedicated employees. Some of the items presented to employees included table-tops, refrigerators, electric kettles, t-shirts, and face caps.

He underscored the principle that the reward for hard work is more work, reinforcing the company’s commitment to its employees and their continued dedication.

The company presented awards in various categories, recognising outstanding employees for their dedication and contributions to the organisation’s success. These categories included Most Dedicated Driver, Active Worker, Best Operational Manager, Most Punctual Waste Manager, Best Maintenance Staff, and more.
