In a heartfelt message to children everywhere especially in Nigeria, on Monday, Hon. Grace Bassey, the Executive Director of the Support for Girls, Boys and Women Initiative (SUGBWi), celebrated Children’s Day with an inspiring and loving statement NEGROIDHAVEN can report.

Bassey, the former lawmaker who represented Ward 7 in the Bakassi Legislative Assembly, highlighted the immense joy and hope children bring into the lives of their families and communities. “Each of you is a unique spark, filled with boundless energy, curiosity, and the potential to change the world,” she stated, emphasizing the importance of every child.

In a press statement cited by our correspondent, she spoke about the invaluable lessons learned from children, noting, “Your laughter brightens our days, your dreams inspire us, and your love teaches us the true meaning of kindness.” She urged children to embrace their potential and seize every opportunity to learn and grow.

Encouraging children to be resilient and to continue pursuing their dreams, Bassey said, “Remember, you are our future, and the world is a canvas waiting for your colors. Embrace every opportunity to learn, grow, and explore. Be kind, be curious, and never stop believing in your dreams.”

In her message, Bassey also pledged the continued support of the SUGBWi to children, promising to stand by them in every step of their journey. “On this Children’s Day, we honor you and promise to support you in every step of your journey. May you always find joy in the little things, courage in the face of challenges, and love in abundance.”

Bassey reminded the young ones of their value and the love they receive. “You are precious, and you are loved,” she affirmed, wishing all children a Happy Children’s Day filled with love and best wishes.
