Amazing to see the road to Berlin final will be played 6th of June at the Olympiastadion, Berlin. In recent years it has been played in the Month of May but this year UEFA champions league final is all taking a new dimension.
Josep Guardiola who spent four years in charge at Camp Nou as a manager amongst his fourteen trophies won he won the UEFA Champions League trophy twice in charge at the Camp Nuo. Now in charge at the Alianz Arena faces his former side Barcelona who lost against Bayern Munich in their last meeting of 2013/2014 campaign season 7-0 aggregate(4-0 at the Alianz Arena, 3-0 in Camp Nuo) when he was on his sabbatical.
On the other hand Real Madrid faces Juventus their old rivals who have met 17 times previously in UEFA competition and the most famous is the 1998 UEFA Champions League final in Amsterdam with Predreg Mijatovic scoring the only goal of the match which Madrid won 1-0. This will make it their 18 meetings in UEFA competition with Juventus considered by many as underdogs. Patrick Evra recently said they are like a bottle of wine, the older they get, the better the taste.
