INEC Chairman Prof. Attahiru Jega had given reasons why the results of the 2015 General elections would be difficult to manipulate.
He backed this up, by revealing what the card reader had been designed to do as it would be used during the elections.
1) Reads Only INEC Issued PVCs
2) Voter Verification Using embedded chip.
3) Voter authentication using biometrics
4) Keep PVC Record"
