Ekun Samuel, 6 July 2015.

Borno residents who have been heavily affected the most by the Extremist and terror group 'Boko Haram', have responded swiftly with reports suggesting Federal Government is open to negotiating with Boko Haram.

They have asked FG not to negotiate with the group who takes delight in perpetuating evil and inflicting pains on the lives of innocent ones, with their baseless motive of killing and bomb attacks.

A Maiduguri based Islamic scholar Shieikh Musa Usman  has asked the FG to equip the military in combating against the insurgents rather than negotiating with the terror group. He also asked the FG to copy our neighbours the Nigerien and Chadian Government in dislodging the insurgents from their country rather than open dialogue with them. Some have even gone ahead to criticise the FG recent report as been a sign of weakness.

According to report from Vanguard; "Women and children flee from home burnt by Boko Haram Islamists at Zabarmari, a fishing and farming village near Maiduguri, northeast Nigeria, on July 3, 2015. Several female suicide bombers in northeast Nigeria blew themselves up amid panicked villagers fleeing a Boko Haram attack, killing scores, the army and witnesses said on July 4. The latest carnage in series of attacks that have claimed more than 200 lives in just three days happened on Friday night in Zabarmari village, 10 kilometres (six miles) from the city of Maiduguri, the birthplace of the jihadist group."
