Chelsea young star has gone the other way for the rest of the season. The promosing Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic, who signed for Chelsea from Hadjuk Split spent last season in Spain with Elche, has been given out on loan to Monaco as part of Falcao deal.
Falcao said: "I am very happy to be joining Chelsea.
"I can't wait to start training, to help with our aim of retaining the league title and being successful in Europe."
Amazingly, Falcao and Costa have previously played up front together for Atletico when they won the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid.
