There is a Clarion Call for prayer warriors to intercede for the peace of Adamawa State of Nigeria and the Nation at large.
According to reports from our source, the number one citizen of the State with other stakeholders in the State have pledged a reward of N200 Million Naira to committed prayer intercessors (Irrespective of whether they are Muslims or Christians I suppose).
This according to the Chief of staff, Alhaji Abdurahman Jimeta, is in tandem to the restoration of peace in all the insurgency prone States in the country.
The decision came due to the increasing rate of terrorism and unrest across the state. The Government is perturbed and nonplussed by the rate at which lives and Properties are being lost to insurgency attacks.
These have led the Government of the State to issue out a request for dogged prayer warriors who will be saddled with the responsibility of knocking the doors of Heaven until the Almighty comes to her aide and to the rescue of other insurgency prone States. They further informs that these category of people (intercessors) would be compensated for their efforts and a Job well done .
It appears to my mind that those in the corridors of Power within the state have decided to approach this menace of insurgency from a religious angle believing that prayers of intercession will help restore peace and tranquility in the Northern part of the country in particular and the Nation in general.
