The National University Commission (NUC), has certified the operations of nine (9) private Universities in the country.
According to reports from our source, the Secretary of the Commission, Prof. Julius Okojie informs that the development is in the right direction as to ensuring quality Education for our wards and a further improvement in the standard of Education in Nigeria.
He however admonished the licensed institutions to ensure that they provide quality Education devoid of self interest.
NEGROIDHAVEN gathered that the intent of the certification given to these private Universities is to ensure that we have enough tertiary Institutions across the Nation and also to turn out intelligent young graduates rather than the half baked ones.
